Just a quick update from our most recent planning meeting with our Project Team of GLS (Architects) and Collier Construction (Project Manager):
- GLS and Collier will continue to look at all of the list of projects and campuses to determine which projects lend themselves to be put together for which phases.
- We have another follow-up meeting scheduled for January to check in and finalize some things that need to be done to move forward with Phase 1 in the Summer of 2025.
- The notices should go out in February to get RFP's/RFQ's for bids for subcontractors, etc...
Phase 1 Projects for Summer 2025 TENTATIVELY look like:
- Interior work on campuses
- Roofing for Webb, High Point, Bus Barn, High School, & Brule Auxiliary Gym.
- Interior lighting projects to update all remaining lighting to LED.
- Interior ceiling grid projects.
- Some flooring projects including removal of the "red tile" flooring at Brule Elementary.
- Exterior drainage issues and projects at Webb Elementary. (tbd)
- Hopefully, any remaining HVAC projects and chillers. (tbd)
Future phases that would begin work the following year for 2026 will be in the planning and design phases this year for all renovations, additions, etc...
