Education Service Center Region 6 is so excited to inform you that we have representatives from UMOS who will be in our area this weekend to assist front-line food and farmworkers to apply for the one-time Farmworker Relief Program, which includes a one-time $600.00 gift card. Frontline workers who worked infarming activities and meatpacking at any time during the COVID-related major disaster declaration period (January 27, 2020 through May 11, 2023) are eligible to receive this one-time funding.

Saturday, April 13, 9:30AM-4:30PM, Bryan ISD Administration Building, 801 S Ennis St. Bryan, TX 77803
Families do not have to live or attend school in Bryan or Navasota to attend these events. If they can make the drive, UMOS is happy to assist at either event. All are welcome!
UMOS will assist food and farmworkers as time permits, first come-first serve. Attached are flyers with eligibility requirements, English and Spanish. It is very important that the flyer/s get read carefully so that the worker knows to bring the required documents. If your parent is unable to attend, the flyers have website information as well as a QR code so you can apply on your own. The worker may also use the QR code to start the preapplication prior to attending the event to help reduce the time it takes to apply in person.
We ask that you please contact any families in your district that may qualify to apply to let them know about this opportunity. We look forward to seeing you soon and helping your families apply for this $600 gift card.
