Navasota ISD hosted the 15th Annual Special Olympics this past week. Athletes from 7 area school districts competed in running and field events. Special thanks to the sponsors and volunteers that helped make the day a success!

Navasota High School students visited the Houston National Cemetery on March 24th and gave eulogies to honor veterans through the Silent Heroes Program. Sergeant Mark Butler was among the three eulogized. We thank these students for their time and efforts. Later, the eulogies and profiles of these veterans will be published on the Veterans Legacy website through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Navasota FFA Ag Mehanics Team earned 5 BLUE Ribbons at the Houston Livestock show & rodeo. We are RATTLER PROUD of these students! Congratulations!

The Navasota High School Bionic Vipers robotics team placed 2nd this weekend! They are now qualified to compete in the STATE tournament and are currently ranked 20th! Pretty awesome for a team that got started 2 years ago! Congratulations to this team & their amazing teachers! Goooooo Rattlers!

Ag Mechanics results - three of the projects place in the top 6 in their very competitive classes!
Additionally, our team was awarded the HOOF award - Houstonians Offering Our Friendship. HOOF provides financial support to hard-working FFA & 4H students who showed determination in overcoming extraordinary trials and hardships over the past year.
These students definitely did just that! Congratulations to this set of young men & their teachers for exemplifying grit and hard work!
