The RSVP program is modeled on the Raising Healthy Children approach to youth development formerly known as the Seattle Social Development Project. RHC is an evidenced-based approach that seeks to incorporate school, family, and individual
programs to promote those elements that research has shown facilitate positive social development in young people.

Family support and parenting workshops will be offered using three family programs - Guiding Good Choices, Supporting School Success, and Raising Healthy Children. Workshops will be offered throughout the upcoming school year for Navasota ISD parents and anyone else who is responsible for raising a child who attends Navasota schools.
